01How hours work

• 1 credit = 1 hour of audio. Partial hours round up — a 20-minute clip uses 1 credit.
• A recording longer than your plan's per-episode limit is not refused: you get a transcript of the opening, clearly marked as a preview, and you are charged only for that part.
• Speaker detection (“Identify speakers”) runs a heavier model and uses 2 credits per hour.
• Up to 50 transcriptions per account per day on every plan.
• Credits refill on your monthly cycle; unused hours don't roll over.
• If a transcription fails on our side, the credit is refunded automatically.
• AI summaries and translations are on every plan and spend the same credits — a summary costs 1 credit per hour of the episode, a translation 6 credits per hour, per language (it rewrites the whole transcript, which is the expensive part). The price is shown on the button before you click it.
